I'm finding the AiO functionally fine for fceumm, PCSX, picodrive and Mednafen PCE. has anyone else tried LAN netplay? i found it worked with me between windows pc and vita on fceumm and picodrive but i had to set the delay frames to 0 in order not to get the disconnection weirdness. i'll test it out between linux RA and vita once my media center setup has updated to linux mint 18 (taking a goddamn age to do so, will report back when it's feasible).

Makes no sense to me why there is any kind of stability difference between the Vita and PSTV. The OS is identical(near as I can tell, with exception to checks for certain hardware features or lack thereof), the architecture is identical. Smarter people than me could probably explain why, though.

He wasn't nice and neither were you, yet you called him out on that with a more vulgar choice of words. That's all. Like I said, it was unnecessary to react like that.

Not Everyone is a Goody Two Shoes ! trying to win morale points by pointing there fingers at others..... what might be a vulgar choice of words to you,,, just might be Completely Accepted by Others ...

"It's ok if everybody else does it" is not a valid excuse. This thread is primarily about discussing the Retroarch Vita port, not about attacking each other. My point is, it was unnecessary. We should help each other here and discuss the progress, and problems, of this otherwise fine emulator.
And my previous point wasn't about not using vulgar words but using them as a means of talking down on somebody. Really, I too use them once in a while when frustrated myself or as a joke. Or self-depreciation.
I suggest we stop this now as this has been dragging on for longer than necessary and I do apologize for technically being responsible for this in the first place but I felt some things simple needed to be said. We are adults, no?

maybe just stick to the topic of Retroarch then.... this long explanation is not needed .. keep that for your own Ego or write it in You're Diary ...
Childish Finger Pointing ... is boring to read ...

i dont actually own a PSTV ...But does seem odd that it works on VITA & not on PSTV?
im also curious why it does not work... as i was just about to order a PSTV & 64gig card from Amazon ... i think i will keep my money in the bank for now.....

Strictly speaking, RA AiO works, save states crash the application, though. This is something that will likely be addressed fairly quickly. I would say go ahead and do it and get your initial setups put in place for when it is addressed.

Not really. FBA works beautifully. But the same Games on the MAME Builds are SSLLOOWW. Some Games, yeah, they are tolerable, but still. Hell, running SFIII 2ndImpact with FBA is Playable even though it stutters at times. So that shows that there is something wrong with the RA Builds

Some of my favorite arcade games which shouldn't be all that taxing run terribly on FBA; The Simpsons is one, TMNT 2 gets stuck in a boot loop due to no NVRAM support.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Few issues/annoyances I found with the AIO on a Vita:

Save states don't work
fast forward doesn't work
FBA needs NVRAM support
FBA needs better compatibility
Some performance regression
Can't map L2/3 and R2/3 to hotkeys on touch pad (front or back)
Turbo toggle doesn't work
would love some macro support (e.g. map L2 to press YBA together)
Would love a turbo modifier to enable/disable rapid fire on a key (useful for games like Final Fight)
Need to be able to emulate audio at lower rates
Need to fix Sega CD crashes when device put to sleep.

Seriously, the Icons need to be Updated so Users can identify certain Cores easier

ALL CORES FROM 25OCT2016 CRASH UPON TRYING TO LOAD A ROM/ISO
All cores were crashing on me sicne version 18-Oct, but now the 26 is working again, after I deleted retroarch folder from data. and copy teh new Bios. I think the AIO updater changes some permissions or stuff, and is less compatible with old config files, etc

Yeah, I am finally getting that Build Installed. Tried Updating the Icons, but for some reason, it could not Install. Non-Altered, it Installs just fine
