Hi,

I bought this Wii and its already unlocked but its outdated.
Looks like the person who made it, did it on its HD. The one I had before used to have his stuffs on that SD Slot on Wii's front. Now I don't know how to updated it lol

Do I need to take its HD out? Or is easier to format it and do it all again using the SD Port?

Looks like I need to put it on IOS 250, can anyone help? Thanks!

Is the homebrew channel installed?

What else do you want to do with it? You want to update the apps?

Sounds like it. Do you have the Homebrew Channel on your system menu? If so, go get SysCheck and follow the directions on the first post on how to install and use it.

If you post the syscheck.csv file here we can look at it and go from there.

Yes, Homebrew is installed. I want to update it to IOS 250 because some games are staying on a black screen.
And I don't know if its normal, but sometimes, using the NeoGamma (I didnt test the others) the games stops and appears a warning "Reading Disc" something like this.

I can't do it today because I need to get a Wii2HDMI. My monitor only supports HDMI lol.
But I'll do it tomorrow then.

I don't remember seeing ModMii or Pimp my Wii.

He's saying download modmii and use it to update your IOSs.

Let me get this straight. There's no sd inserted, but there is a usb stick in the back - and that's what you're running homebrew apps off of?

If that's the case, just download the apps you need and put them on the flash drive.

Np. The only USB I'm using is to play the games, but there are only the games on it.

Ok, here its the correct procedure.
  1. First, make sure you got Homebre Channel installed.
  2. On a USB or SD, download SysCheck: https://code.google.com/archive/p/syscheck/downloads
  3. and put it here --> SD:/Apps/Syscheck/boot.dol or USB:/Apps/Syscheck/boot.dol
  4. Plug the USB or the SD on the Wii.
  5. Launch Homebrew Channel.
  6. Run Syscheck.
  7. Press A, This will generate a file on the USB or SD called SyScheck.scv
  8. Download ModMii from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/modmii/files/ModMii Installer.exe/download?use_mirror=heanet
  9. Install ModMii.
  10. Once install it, Dont Select the "Run after closing this window".
  11. Run ModMii [The NOT GRAPHIC INTERFACE], it will open a Blue console window.
  12. Write I Agree.
  13. Write: SU, which means and stands for System Update.
  14. Drag And Drop your SysCheck.csv.
  15. It will generate a list of Files outdated.
  16. Download Them.
  17. Press O.
  18. A folder with all the filed downloaded compiled as a WAD files will be there including Multi Mod manager or a tool to install wads.
  19. Copy all the files fisplayed to the root of your USB or SD.
  20. Run homebrew channel.
  21. Run Multi Mod Manager, or WiiMod.
  22. Press the RIGHT button on the D Pad.
  23. Press 1.
  24. Press A.
  25. All wads will be installed updating you Softmod.
Note: Somehow ModMii always update the first 25 IOS or SO, even if you got them already up to date, so this is normal. the cIOS needed up to date are:
202.
222.
223.
236.
249 d2x v8 or v10.
250 d2x v8 or v10.

But please, just do me a favor, and paste here or attach here your SysCheck.svc to know what you have.

You got a pretty outdated softmod:
Dropping the SysCheck.cvs to modmii will generate the wads needed, the most importants are:
202, 222,223,236,249 and 250, those are the ones ;D

ModMii will download v8, those were the last "release" builds, but on the settings you can change it to v10 beta if you'd like ;D
