With the new USB loading hack going on, I see that the Wii U scene is coming back to life.
Since I haven't followed things very closely, I'm jumping in and while I'm having no issues, I just had a few questions.
1) I installed a game to my USB drive with no issues. It works perfectly. But, how are game updates handled? The game was Mario Kart 8 and I bought the DLC a long time ago and when I installed MK8 to my USB drive, I think the DLC was recognized and usable. When the game loaded, it had version 4.1 I believe in the bottom corner. I'm guessing that when using NUSGrabber, it automatically grabbed any updates for the game since the DLC was playable. So far, so good?
2) If nusgrabber.exe isn't grabbing updates, is there a homebrew app that can scan your USB drive and grab whatever updates you need? Going forward, lets say MK8 introduces new DLC. How do I get it? Turn off TubeHAX and pop on eShop, buy it, then turn TubeHAX back on? Same question for game updates. Lets say MK8 v5 hits. If I'm using TubeHAX, how are game updates downloaded?
3) Since the latest 5.5.1 firmware is exploitable, do we even need TubeHAX? I know, I know, Nintendo could release firmware v6 tomorrow that kills all this but beyond that, (which is a major concern), any other reason to keep TubeHAX set up?
