I don't know why, but my friend can't play the pokemon demo. He tried everything, seed, legit demo from the eShop, he also changed his sd card... but

That's because it's an extended RAM game. Try using the custom path option in Luma. I have the same error BTW, but I already tried everything :/

well the file system is slimar to x and y and oras and the save file its a main how do we tell if its using an upgraded x and y engine or a new one also pkx7 files load in pkhex with out any updates

No, the game is using extended RAM, a mode that games like Smash use. You can't use NTR yet on those games

That may explain why using debugger, I wasn't able to find suitable values and changes.
Perhaps I should finally reactivate my O3DS XL and play the demo to get ram offsets of sorts..

I meant using my Gateway on my O3DS XL, that uses Menuhax.
