Hardware Old 3DS Turns on with a light then a loud click and it turns off.

My Old 3DS used to have some problems where occasionally it would turn off if pressure was applied in a certain area and only turn on if pressure was applied in a certain area. I fixed this by removing and replacing the battery, but the problem returned and my previous solution didn't work anymore. Being the dumb person I am I opened it up and tried re-connecting all the visible connectors to see if that works, and guess what, I broke it. After putting it back together and turning it on, It has the blue light for a few seconds but then a loud click happens and the screen flashes and the system turns off. I really want to have this fixed before Pokemon Sun & Moon because I don't have the money to buy another 3DS. Is there any fix to this? I'm currently charging the system again to see if that helps with anything. If you need more info just let me know.

Being the dumb person I am I opened it up and tried re-connecting all the visible connectors to see if that works, and guess what, I broke it.

Fix whatever ribbon cable you broke and it will work

UPDATE: I fixed part of the problem which was I forgot to close the gate for the connector that goes the screen. Now it will turn on and everything but if I don't set it down gently or handle it gently sometimes it turns off. I've tried applying pressure to every point but I can't pin point the exact location. Also the circle pad isn't working but I think I can easily fix that. I'm going to also try re-connecting the connector again when I'm fixing the circle pad. Also I am missing one of the screws for taking off the back (Not the one in the cartridge slot) which place is a screw least required on the back?

Take a close look at all the ribbon cables, make sure none of them are tearing or otherwise broken, check all the connectors and make sure the cables are properly seated, and be very careful when doing so so you don't cause further damage. It's either a poorly seated cable or a cable that's starting to tear, you can get replacement ribbon cables cheaply so it should be an easy fix once you've pinpointed the problem.

Not all of the ribbon cables are required for the 3DS to function (as you noticed with the circle pad), I don't have a list but one of them is the ribbon cable that goes to the upper screen and speakers. If you can find a list it will be easier to pinpoint the issue.
Does opening/closing the hinge make the 3DS turn off? If so it's likely the upper screen ribbon.

I seem to have fixed everything now but the circle pad, 2 of the pins on the connector for it are broken, but it doesn't matter to me too much. I fixed the power issue permanently by just reconnecting the cable so it doesn't randomly turn off anymore.
