Probably doesn't have a 3DS, how are you able to run Pokemon X without the home folder dump? Probably used the Chinese version with the illegal files...

your game is probably broken, go to the eshop and try repairing it by going to the store page and scrolling all the way down. If you don't want to do that i'll see If i can backup my save and link it

I haven't bothered but i seems it barley works. Last time i checked it crashes when you get into a battle but that might have changed.
Last time i tried it it crashed the moment it tried to load the rom, same with or/as

ORAS works well on a decent rig, I get 40+ fps. It has a dynamic recompiler now so it gave it quite a speed boost, will probably still be a few months before they implement all of the functions.

In XY, there is still random crashes, and you can't get past the character creation, hence the save file needed.

Check back in over the next few months, it really is moving fast now.

I don't get why people want to emulate 3ds to play full games this early.
If you want to play pokemon buy a 2ds and a copy of xy, or/as, and sun and moon
i already have a copy of x/y/or/as and a n3ds xl/3ds xl... it's just that sometimes i want to experiment.... I also have an r4 that's more than capable of playing every pokemon rom available+ rom hacks yet I still use desmume x432R

I was refering to people who don't have a 3ds and want to play the latest pokemon games and think every emulator is perfect.

It will be handy too, because eventually it will be able to scale up resolution, so one could play pokemon in HD on a nice big 40" monitor.

but if that monitor is 1080p, lol.. there goes the "hd", the only thing hd is the pixels themselves being able to seen easily

I wouldn't like play any pokemon game on any size other than the original screen size. (Which is why i play gold on my gameboy color).
Playing the 3ds pokemon games on the XL looks a bit pixelated TBH.

Unrelated question:

In desmume (on 3ds i presume) is it running at full speed or at least 50ish fps cuz any rom i load runs slow as shit, if so can you link where you got it?

Lol that's why I got me one of these: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/co...EG&ap=y&c3api=1876,116777138042,&Q=&A=details

Well not just for Pokemon but other gaming, although my N3DS is more than enough, but maybe I will get t re-play the Hoenn region in HD! Mainly I would want to play Xenoblade or something in that screen.

The cool thing about emulators is they can upscale the image fairly well, some PS2 games I play on PCSX2 look like they were made last year lol
