You can't launch gateway without a gateway. If you want gateway's tools then use decrypt9WIP which does everything gateway does and better. https://github.com/d0k3/Decrypt9WIP/releases/

Put the Decrypt9WIP.bin into the /luma/payloads folder and rename to Y_D9.bin Hold Y then turn on 3ds and Decrypt9 will boot up.

Can't be done, the Gateway launcher requires that the red card is in your console in order to boot.

You can run the launcher from an a9lh sysnand anyway. Just use payload chainloading.

No. Why do you want to use Gateway software so badly? Stick with a CFW.
