On topic, I've actually got back into Pokemon Go recently. My iPhone 5 was out of action for a month and now it's working again I'm back to Pokemon hunting I don't really care whether it's popular or not.

i don't know why but i hate popularity and attention... i played pokemon go before it was out in europe (apk for the win)
but shortly after the europen release, there was a shitload on tv
and you know... thoose 40 years old womans that own an white iphone that frown upon every game, but for whatever reason they actually downloaded once candry crush and since then they play it every fucking hour...
sudendly they somewhat like pokemon go (and now don't shut up at their 5 year old newphew that their generic stuffed animal is the pikachu)

but enough of derailing what i wanted to say is.. i can't be the only one.. when i like something, and that something is everywhere, eveyrone talks about it.. i loose the interest..
maybe i am what people say "hipster" ?
how can i be an hipster if i don't care about apple?

Niantic basically killed it. They ignored the fanbase, they went after 3rd party apps instead of fixing bugs, they didn't set up events, they still haven't released any legendary Pokemon, most of the features required way too much effort (seriously, once you hit 100KM for Silver, it jumps to 1,000KM!) and so many other issues.
If they listened to the users, we would all still be playing it.
