Hacking Is it possible to unbrick an nds flashcart via 3ds

so i suspect my r4i sdhc dual core new is bricked , since using the stage 2 launcher or the ntr launcher do not boot it up.
i am at a stage where i cant get another flashcart
so i was thinking if it was possible to salvage this one
since i gave my Dsi to me sister , the only ds console i have access to is me 3ds

(ps:- is the ds part of the forum , dead?)

The card you have has a timebomb meaning that it won't work after some time. Try setting your date back to 2015 or 2014.

i tried to use with my clock set to 2010/11 also uh , it shows a simple white screen when i boot it up via ntr launcher
and stuck on loading in stage 2 launcher

Have you tried booting it through the cartridge slot?

no card inserted , i am on o3ds a9lh+luma latest firm sysnand...
also i might have bricked that card by booting with the kernel files for the 2013 edition of the card....they release alot of cards with the same name

Booting the wrong kernel won't brick kt, but installing the wrong update will.

setting to 2013/14/15 did nothing
i will try those kernel files
and yes the soulsilver cartridge i still have shows up no issues and also ntr boots it ez

Booting the wrong kernel won't brick kt, but installing the wrong update will.

i didnt install updates , had to update 3ds since i had to get pokemon x ... i waited for the website to update the kernel files but they didnt and so we (my brother and me) ended up trying to put the kernel files for the 2013 edition of the card ... no luck

also we booted the card with the 2013 files in another 3ds and sadly it ended up showing an error has occurred 2 years back.... so we didnt try it again until the launchers surfaced

uh i tried that , no change , stuck on white screen (NTR launcher with resetslot set to 1 as recommended on thread) , Stuck on Loading (Stage 2 Launcher for r4 rev for ds), NO cart inserted....

no instaing it still didn't change anything, white screen from ntr launcher

I've had a lot of problems with dual core R4, and I can confirm using a wrong kernel can brick the card.

I got a kernel installed in the shop I bought it, and after opening moonshell, it bricked. Then I asked for a refund and the shop assistant bricked another card the same way. That's why I got a R4 SDHC RTS
