using regoin emulation may work if it does not work normaly
It might but no one knows until January. :/using regoin emulation may work if it does not work normaly
eh could just trade the pokemon to red or blue or yellow vc but it causes the games to glitch if you do that maybe if you use the english translation hack it will not glitch up and the trade will work
well it could work pokebank works with out of regoin oras and x and y carts and also bw so im guessing theres a good chance of it workingalso no.
Translation hacked roms' save offsets are likely different, or the pokemon data are likely different,
and it will in turn cause Poketransporter to be unable to recognize the data or corrupt the pokemon.
Your best bet is to pass someone your save,
then get the to transport and trade it to you.

blues kinda the same as the Japanese green so i guess it does not matter
Indeed, I remember trying to trade from my original JP Red cart to my Pokemon Blue. It was messed up.also no.

edit:
Pokebank isn't region locked, because XYORAS across regions use the same title ID,
and the data is handled and saved the same.
However, Gen I pokemon have their data saved differently across regions,
and also they have different title IDs

what do you mean? Mew can be obtained on EU/US Blue/Red too.Yeah it's precisely that.
That's why for the West, there was no JPN pokemon gen I save editor, because the offsets were different and not known,
until it was discovered and subsequently implemented by SciresM (Rhydon Editor)
Also, the fact that the OP is so adamant about Pokemon Green, I have a feeling it's related to a particular Mew save...
Anyhow,
Ones best bets are:
1. get someone to transfer up the Pokemon for you then trade in S/M
2. pray that poketransporter has universal title id recognition, not locked behind region wall. (though that may cause legitimacy issues after transfer)
no i meant the pokemon you can catch are the same not the game itself and greens in Japanese so just play blue insteadWrong once again.
Save offsets are different.
Amount of Boxes in PC is different between Japanese and English.
Trying using a Pokemon Green Save file on a purely English Pokemon Red/Blue save editor, watch your save corrupt.
that is exactly what happens if poketransporter isn't safeguarded to grab the data from the correct save offset.
It isn't just magic and extracts your data.
Everything has to be programmed correctly..
thing is i think pokebank app is the same for all regoinsYeah it's precisely that.

(and we can't just dump a JP pk1 to a EN save, because the nickname characters are encoded different: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Character_encoding_in_Generation_I)

Edit:
I'll be posting the .pk7 for the VC Mew event when the time comes.
I've got a japanese N3DSLL and subscription for Pokebank, as well as Pokemon Green ready to move!

He is pretty ugly in Red 1.0/Green tho.
I have a Green cartridge somewhere.... I have to get a JP Red 1.1 and EU Red. And while I'm at it, buy Yellow from Japan.
I really only got Red 1.0 for the ugly sprites. Really, Red 1.1/Red EU/US is so much prettier
Green isn't the same as Blue. Red (1.0)/Green have different sprites than Red (1.1) / Blue, for starters.no i meant the pokemon you can catch are the same not the game itself and greens in Japanese so just play blue instead
