Homebrew Accidentally updated my system to newest, but still have my NAND.

So i accidentally upgraded my system, here's the short story:
I left my o3DS on my bed, right? Okay, I had powered up my system, and every once and a while it will notify me that there is a new update. My cat activated the update, and yeah. I am not joking, I am angry with my cat.

I still have old sysnand and emunand backups, as well as normal NAND.bin backups, is there a way i can restore those on my system??

*No hardmod suggestions please, I am going for a vanilla structure for my system.

yeah, get a hardmod.

otherwise, enjoy userland homebrew (if you have an exploit game)

to restore a NAND backup without a hardmod requires arm9 access, which that firmware doesn't have.

This is one reason why I have a9lh

its not free though, the Source 3DS hasto have a legitimate copy of of the compatable DSiware titles and Allready be running A9LH (as you need A9 access to inject a Save into TWLFirm) Essentially DSIwareDowngrade is kinda like a Sudokuhax 2.0 but not Quite.

Hardmod does not have to be permanent.

DSIwarehax requires another 3ds that's already hacked.

Really? but I was told emunand cannot be restored using hardmod. If you do so 3ds will get bricked.

Someone lied to you, the games won't work, but you can restore via emunand. emunand = sysnand, just ran off an sd card.

My two cats do really like 3DS consoles. If I leave mine charging on the couch it's a guarantee one of them will find it and curl up on it. Maybe because it's warm.

Wait, if this is a EmuNAND + SysNAND setup, it was the SysNAND that got updated? Because if it was the EmuNAND it's as easy as booting into eg.: Decrypt9 to solve. (And if not... why oh why would one be booting into SysNAND?)

I think so, but it requires a second 3ds to install the exploit onto fieldrunners. Unless OP has a second hacked 3ds with arm9 access...
