I honestly gave up trying to do it myself. Too many questions, too many problems. I figure I'm better off getting someone else to help me. Someone who actually knows what they're doing!

If you're willing to help me out, let me know and I'll PM you all the files. I need one for every multi-channel track in MK8 along with some others like the online menu. I have every song saved in WAV, BRSTM, and BFSTM format so just tell me what you need. Everything is already perfect in terms of volume and loop so no need to make any edits there.

Thanks for reading!

You're trying to make a multi-channel BFSTM but don't know how?
I can teach you. :)

Yes I am! I've tried a few ways but they haven't been successful. When I tried to ask for help, I got yelled at for bumping. :(

If you could teach me that'd be awesome! :D

Hi, I am not sure if you have read the rules for this site, but bumping your threads (or anyone elses) is against the rules. Please do not make posts like "Up" or "Bump". If your thread requires attention, those with knowledge will help you.

Ahh thank you but I can't run it unfortunately, it's not compatible with my laptop. "Is not a valid Win32 application."
What version of Windows are you running? You need .NET Framework 4.5 or later, which comes with Windows 8 and later, or as an update for Vista/7.

Alternatively, I have the same encoder on the Windows Store: https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9nblggh4s2wn

My other thread fell into the depths because no one would help me (here or on any other forum I've asked for help on). Am I really just supposed to sit for months waiting for help that won't come? ;-;

I'm running Windows XP on a 2004 laptop. It's all I have and it's very unlikely I'll be getting a new one anytime soon. This is the reason I can't use most of the converters I find.

Alright, tomorrow I'll upload one that targets .NET 4.0 if I remember.

Xp?
There is your problem.

If even the framework 4 version isn't going to help you, pm me and i'll convert them for you using @moosehunter converter.
Shouldn't be hard to do.

My way:
Make a multi-channel BRSTM:
Stereo = 2 channels.
Mono = 1 channel.
Etc.

1. Use Audacity to split channels, and save them as separate files.
Example: I have two stereo tracks, I save the left channel of the first track as 1.wav, I save the right channel of the first track as 2.wav, I save the left channel of the second track as 3.wav, I save the right channel of the second track as 4.wav

2. Follow this video:

Convert that BRSTM to BFSTM using this tool.

This method should work on XP.

I might even make a video tutorial soon. :P

Awesome, I'll let you know if I need converting.

The main problem I have trouble with it exactly how to do the channel thing in Audacity. I don't know how many channels I need for a certain track (I remember in MKW some had 4 and others had 8) and I'm not sure how to do the "distribution" among sides. Like how it shows linking the left and right to the channels? Do I connect all to the left, the right, half left, half right...? Plus I'm not sure if I only need one song or if I need to save the same song multiple times... a lot of the tutorials just start with "take all the songs" and I'm not sure if it means all the songs you want to convert or all the files for the same song or... what. This whole thing is super confusing to someone like me. :P

I was told in another thread I had to convert it to BCSTM and then BFSTM but that just messed up the file. I already use that converter you linked for the basic music, then I put it through Looping Audio Converter to make it a BFSTM.

That's the way forums work, bud.

Other forums I use have you wait 4 hours before bumping (at the very most, some don't have any) so I'm pretty used to that haha. :P I'm really just trying to get help asap so I can finish this pack.
