I mean .. we haven't waterproof ryhorn or crystal onix(and I was a idiot kid with my pokemon crystal bootleg game looking for it =A=) just because anime... why not still keep the filler as filler ? :/

It's still possible. Look how its front paws are bigger than its back paws like the leaked evo's. There's also the flame-shaped thing on its neck which, I assume, will be moved down to the belt when it evolves.

Keep in mind that Rockruff stands up on two feet when it evolves into midnight Lycanroc, so it's not really impossible for it to stand up for the final evo.
