From what I understand it will work on every firmware out now up to 5.5.1 and it is best to have it on he latest to avoid issues. I have questions I would like answered.
1.Is the exploit in the sd card itself. Meaning I can run it and when it is out of the Wii U I can play normal wii u game discs online if I can?
2.Does the speed of the sd card buy actually matter or is limited by what the wii u can actually read?
3. When playing wii game backups are they also limited to the sd card speed and experience slow downs?
4.When playing wii back ups and n64 games can u use the wii u pro controller? Or what controller can you use?
1. Yes
2. Not really, ignore anyone who tells you otherwise. Stick with class 10, it's cheap and as fast as the Wii U will go. UHS will only help for transferring the game from your computer to the SD card. The Wii U does
not support UHS. (

3. Wii U game backups, I'm assuming? You'll probably notice that the games load quite a bit slower no matter what. The Wii U disc read speed is apparently ~22.5MB/s. If you're playing Wii backups just use the USB port, I find that to be pretty fast.
4. I don't think you can with Wii backups (only Wii U). You can play N64 backups with the Wii U pro controller if you play a Wii U VC game. If you're using the vWii you cannot as Not64 does not have libwupc support (and nothing official supports the Wii U Pro Controller on the vWii).
Thanks guys. Just wondering what are the chances of bricking the Wii U trying to get Loadiine,Vwii or Nintendon't to work?? I know a usb drive will work now for gameube and wii backups. Also what controllers can I actually use on vwii or Nintendon't? Is playing vwii or nintendon't the same as playing the Dolphin emulator? meaning I can run into bugs and glitches?
Chance of brick is minimal, I've actually never heard of one (following a guide), and have done many Wiis (but only one Wii U). As long as you follow the guides you should be fine.
On the vWii for Wii games you have access to the typical Wii arsenal. For homebrew, anything supporting libwupc will support the Wii U pro controller. It's basically a little bit of Google searching and trial and error but
most emulators have at least a fork that supports it.
Nintendont works with the Wii U pro controller. It works with a lot actually, pretty much anything you want to work with that will.
The vWii is official by Nintendo, the Wii U actually reboots into it. You shouldn't notice any inaccuracies.
Nintendont is translated not emulated (unlike Dolphin). You can run into errors but you usually don't, it's pretty incredible actually.
