Hacking I'm a total beginner at firmware 1.0, I have read all the threads but some little questions

First of all, this forum rocks, awesome information and respect for all the developers who created all the tools!
I've read all the threads and came to the conclusion Plailects guide to install a9lh and Luma cfw are the best things to aim for at this moment.

Only thing I didn't saw, was an explanation for was which official firmware is the best to go for, because I have a lot of options when starting with 1.0 (not ten but one)
The Plailect guide says I can go for an cartridge update to 4 or 6 for a hackable firmware. But no explanation if I should stay there or go higher/lower. I saw an excell sheet and it said even at 1.0 there were some options.

So my questions would be:

1-Is it when having setup up a custom firmware of Luma it won't matter which official one I had, because it overrides the official firmware version?
2-Someone said 9.2 is a Golden Firmware. Does it mean this one is the most compatible with games. And Luma would work even better ?
3-Can I also buy a game with 9.2 on it instead of 4/6, and update from 1.0 if that is the better option?
4-I tried to read all of it, but maybe I'm forgetting something. So what would be your way to go when staring with 1.0 ?

No, it was the golden FW for hacks. For your case it'd be 4 or 6. Just don't go above 9.2!

An update to 4 or 6 would be faster and easier in your case, but what you said is an option too.

I don't know if it is possible on that firmware, but if there is an entry point you could dump your OTP. I know there is no web browser, but maybe there is something else. 9.2 is a good firmware because it is the last firmware that gave you arm9 access. Luma is the most used CFW, it requires 9.2 or below or a9lh.

That's right, there's a browser-less CN payload for that.

Thanks for the answers! I searched for 1.0 firmware methods, but it looked like more advanced to hack it. I'll go for the more easy cartridge update 4/6 way!

Only one last questions, doesn't give the higher firmware some kind of benefit?
Or once having Luma on it, it won't matter which official firmware I start setting up A9LH with?
And it all has the same superpowers??

Obviously old. A N3DS can't be firmware 1.0.

The MSET exploit is an option too, I'd prefer it over Ninjhax (because I like my DS cart).

Generally not, different FW ranges have different advantages.

Nope, but after you set it up (properly) you're free to update.

My advice is:
Buy a sky3ds (whatever version)
Put cubic ninja rom on it
Dump otp with cubic ninja
Update to 9.2 with a rom containing the 9.2 on your sky.
Launch the homebrew launcher with cubic ninja or any other game via your sky.
Install A9LH with your previously dumped OTP.
Update to latest version (11.1 atm) with Luma.
Resell sky3ds.
???
Profit!

I think it's the best route for you since you need to buy a cart anyway and even a DS linker if you wanna use MSET
