OTPLess A9LH installer On 9.2(N3DS ONLY)

EDIT:
THIS HAS POTENTIAL TO BRICK YOUR 3DS.
I WOULDN'T RECCOMEND YOU TO USE THIS GUIDE, AS IT IS VERY UNSAFE, AS STATED IN THE ORIGINAL GUIDE THAT I COPY-PASTED.
Follow this guide instead.

But if you for some reason still want to use this guide, do it, but don't blame me if you brick.

This guide is copy-pasted from here

Guide:

This guide begins assuming you are already on 9.2. If not, follow Plailect's guide.

  • Step 1. Take your SD card out of your 3DS and put it in your computer

  • Step 2. Download the a9lh folder here and place the contents on the root of your SD card. This contains the payloads and firms necessary for installing A9LH.

  • Step 3. Download the latest release of safea9lhinstaller and place the contents of the 7zip file on the root of your SD card

  • Step 4. Turn on your 3DS with the SD card reinserted and boot homebrew launcher on your 9.2 sysNAND

  • Step 5. Open safea9lhinstaller

  • Step 6. Press select and you'll have arm9loaderhax!

Easy! I'll try.
edit: Worked twice on EUR New and New XL 9.2 sysNand + 11.1 emuNand
We had ctrBootManager with ReiNand, now I have only sys 11.1 and my girlfriend's N3DS boots directly into emuNand (not redNand) with Luma

inb4 the noobs that bricked their 3DS's following Paliect's first A9LH guide start rampaging that A9LH can be installed in like 10 minutes now. Lmao.

Anyways I hope an O3DS method comes up. Have an old O3DS Non XL that'd I'd love to try this on. Never A9LH'ing my N3DS's.

Due to the fact that it relies on files encrypted by the OTP that are already there on the n3DS, this won't happen on the o3DS (we have to get the OTP to set up those files, files that the n3DS-intended-to-be-exclusive arm9loader expects to be there and be encrypted with the OTP)

Just out of curiosity what version of the arm9loaderhax is contained within the attached zip file? The stage1 and stage2 payloads in the attachment that was posted do not match the noscreen or the screeninit versions of what's on Aurora Wright's precompiled binaries.

I just tried this method, and it went smoothly. Barely 5 Mins of preparation work(preparing files) and one button push and now i have A9LH.
Did the same for my neighbor, and no brick there either.

it took me almost 10 hours to do because of the small Sd card, the heavy nand backups and the fact that i was using a 1.0 usb adapter

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then

Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
