Hello.
When a friend of mine came over helping him to set everything setup, I see his 3DS is so much faster than mine.

My 3DS:
4.5 sysNAND.
11.1 rxTools emuNAND.

His 3DS:
9.2 sysNAND.
11.1 rxTools emuNAND.

Even his sysNAND boots faster, just everything.
Not sure what he did with his NANDs though.

I have FBI and NSMB2 directly on the 4.5 sysNAND. So I should mention that.
Installed it myself long time ago.

Why is my 3DS seconds slower than his while it's both old 3DS?
Do I have to delete something?

Thanks.

MAYBE the version has something to do with it??? MAYBE it could be the Rxtools build or MAYBE it is your sd card. Since you have games you downloaded that means your sd has to boot them up (along with the homebrew and stuff) each time. Also I recommend switching over to Luma3ds! Switching is extremely easy!

What can Luma3DS do that rxTools can't?
I've never had any problems, but this is kinda interesting ^^

It's faster, allows compatibility with out of region things, it is supported unlike RXTools which is dead and could stop working in an update very soon. Luma is also nicer and such. It also auto patches AGB_Firm and TWL_Firm (for dsiware or gba games) and more! I really do recommend it! And for the tools part, use decrypt9 it has all the tools RXTools has except not buggy better and SO MANY MORE! I think most of the community can agree on that!

For the best experience I would also recommend Arm9loaderhax. It's a big upgrade from where you are and should only take maybe an hour? You can do everything on sysnand, your 3ds will boot much faster, you can recover from bricks and much more!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Thanks.
I'll try it out ^^
You are aware of how to switch correct? (Download it and copy the 3ds, luma and luma3ds.dat to the root of your sd card!)

I'm aware of those things ^^
I can figure it out myself ^^

I may have some other question, but not about Luma 3DS ^^ I don't have my 3DS with me right now anyways, but ok )) I have some other questions though, but not regarding CFW ^^
Those questions will have either a brand new topic or not at all.
And thanks.

Not interested in arm9loadherhax, but ofcourse Luma3DS. Rosalina anyone?
Anyways, the question I'm about to ask might need some reading since I just post them here.

So here we go:
You've probably heard of RemoteJoy PSP.
If you haven't, it's a homebrew tool used to record the PSP screen, so the PSP screen comes up on the computer, and then you can record, with like Hypercam or something like that, so the PC processes the power.
Is there also one for the 3DS? There is NTR CFW, but the old 3DS might not handle that since it records from 3DS itself.

So is there something like RemoteJoy that the 3DS shows up on the PC screen?
Thanks.

When I tired a Class 2 SD card everything boots much slower when compared to a Class 10 SD

I didn't know your SD cards were tired :P
But that explains. A Class 2 SD Card is literally way more tired than a Class 10 ^^
Haven't paid attention to that.
Thanks!

NTR CFW does do it, but only on n3ds
