God, i hope so! However, i do believe that 7th Dragon III leaking insanely early (in the order of months) was an isolated case and i highly doubt we'll get that lucky ever again in the remainder of the 3DS scene.

A few days early is far more plausible and likely, just look at DQ7 and SMT4:A

Most likely not. Nintendo is going to hold onto this game and most likely not ship game to the stores until about a week (maybe 3 days) before release.
Trust me, as someone who worked the last Pokemon releases, we didn't get them in until 3 days before it was suppose to be released.

Incredibly unlikely but not impossible, just depends when the games get in to someone's hands who can dump them, probably better hoping for a week early at most.

They also might wait until last minute this time to get them to stores, a lot of places sold XY early last time, I had mine a few days early thanks to stores doing that, wasn't even a small store either, it's was a country wide chain.

I am a manager over Entertainment in a Wal*Mart. I have to follow the market on all forms of entertainment and I also oversee video games/phone releases.

Yet the rom got leaked a week+ early... Also we have China getting copies of the game, so they could leak early...

Fair enough, I wasn't on the up and up on 3DS hacking last year, so I wasn't aware of any leaks. I just know that stores tend to get about a week before hand. At least the stores in my marketing direct.

I am not saying it's impossible for the games to leaked, just stating the facts I do know about the market. Anything outside of my little bubble is not something I can really speak on behalf of.

I only know the rules within my marketing district. Thus I am mostly speculating that most stores follow a similar pattern. But I know they aren't all the same. Such as, my store got Smash a week early, but the others in my area got it 3 days before launch.
Like I said, I am only stating the facts that I know in my marketing area, anything outside of my bubble I can not speak on behalf of.

Well actually China mainland is not getting the release. Chinese as a language is added to sun&moon, which is a good thing for us Chinese-speaking people, but the games are only officially released in Hong Kong and Taiwan region. I believe the majority of Chinese Pokemon players are still have trouble to get the game on release day so don't expect them to leak a dump.

BTW it's sad to see Nintendo is still not entering China. Didn't they see how much profit Sony made by officially releasing PS4 in China? Don't know why they're still holding off.

Well i only ask for concern but why does someone wanna know something like this? It just reminds me of how someone stated they leaked the E3 demo of legend of zelda breath of the wild. We all know it was false.

When or if it happens then what? Conratulations, you got early access to a game that you may or may not wanted. Is not any different than playing it later, you still get the game regardless.

Also i think the op mean to ask, "Do you think there will be a early leak?" As opposed to "Can we see one" Which also adds confusion, if someone has it and does it, yes we can, is it possible? That i dunno, so let the speculation begin.

I didn't know people complain about anything pokemon besides the anime. Sound like something i don't get in this statement. But i guess "data mining" is expected. Seem like a bunch of impatient people if you ask me.

That's not a leak, the Japanese version have multilanguages, and turns out the CIA for all regions are the same.
You must have mistaken for 7th Dragon. That one got leaked months before release.

The CIAs are similar but not identical, I believe the BOSS IDs (used for Mystery Gift) in the code.bin differ between regions. Sm4sh has the same deal with the code.bins, very minute differences in the actual code, but they do differ, unfortunately. Makes patching annoying :/
I recalled incorrectly, all region .cias are identical.
