Hacking c2-12828-1 error on new undubbed ffx-2 dump

I'm getting the above error on starting the game after the title screen loads. This is from that well known but unmentionable backups subreddit

Has anyone had this error with game dumps? c2-12828-1

Installed through vitashell successfully but won't get past title menu

As far as that error goes it's a pretty common one for game dumps from early Vitamin versions. If you care to look up what $ony actually says the error means it's a "generic error". Basically some part of the dump likely got corrupted, likely during the dump process or the dumper they used doesn't properly compensate for something present in the games coding (for instance the steroid module from vitamin dumps aids in fios2 wrappers from my understanding).

In short, from my own experience messing with trying to mod Criminal Girls Invite, if the game throws this error with modded (ie undubs) you should try running it unmodified. Chances are the game dump just plain doesn't work...

It was an undubbed dump and I replaced some files for English speaking.

Got a tax refund so never mind if ya know what I mean. I'l try it unedited anyway. It's jap speaking with English subtitles

do you have rincheat installed and enabled? if so i hear disabling it works
