Yes, it is that hard. Why? Because of this: "Gamecard save-images for powersaves are not available as of July 29, 2016, due to the newer save-crypto this game uses." from Stickerhax's github page. Good luck getting a Powersaves save file for Stickerhax. The only primary hax available are Smashhax and Freakyhax.

You need to do the DSi save transfer downgrade method using an already hacked O3DS (you can't go N3SD->O3DS). Check Plailect's guide for more info.

Or hardmod your device by soldering 4 wires, connecting to an SD card adapter, and using an SD card reader with a certain chipset to dump, inject and restore your NAND.

Edit: You can restore your NNID on the newly hacked system and redownload all of your purchased content. Although, you can also pirate them all after the fact. Your choice.
