Nah it was a normal game, as soon as I read "no need for flashcart" I instantly tried to do it, but alas it failed, then I spent the next 30 mins reading the thread and found out it only worked with demos and homebrew... and decided to add my useless input :P still, it was worth a try :yay: can't wait till this works tho it's gonna be BIG
The template did say "Homebrew ROMS only", right? You didn't have to spend the next 30 mins reading the thread.

Sorry guys, stupid question time:
I'm only getting a whitescreen with homebrew ROMs.

Do I have the jar to be in a specific folder on the SD card?
Do I have the ROM file to be in a specific folder on the SD card?

Was "Games are on SD Card" checked?
If so, did you drag and drop the ROM from the SD card to the program.

Also, did you download the pack from the OP?

I've been getting this error whenever I try to launch a forwarder cia. I checked the path when I generated the cia and everything seems ok but I still keep getting the error. Probably something stupid on my part. I appreciate some help with this. My flashcart is the R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS one.

Where's the .DAT file? Make sure it's in the flashcard.

It wont be long now!, question would the games be forward channels to load the rom off the sd Or can they be cias like full games?

I don't see why you would want to waste valuable home menu space on several .cias when 1 app will be able to do the exact same thing. Unless it's some sort of bragging rights/authenticity feel or something...

Anyway good job with this guys. Here's hoping we get DS-SD commercial loading by the end of the year. ;)

It's easier for little kids (<6 years) to load the games if on the home menu rather than first needing to enter a Wood-style rom loader.

For older people, well, they look just nice along with 3DS titles of the same series of games.

Really? My younger sibling who is under that age can work around an R4 pretty fine. Of course I wouldn't say all kids can do so with relative ease but it feels like that group would be the minority. Kids are pretty smart with technology these days.

As far as older people goes, it might not look prettier than several authentic-like apps but it gets the job done and is practically better. Besides which they're never going to be authentic in the first place barring a Nintendo miracle.
