Well after eating some vanilla ice cream with cream soda, i figure i would ask. Since i know there many combinations what are some good ones to suggest? As long as it includes ice cream or some soda, any other additional stuff is okay to mention as well. :)

Here is what ya gotta do.

Get ya a cold Pepsi (or Coke if you are sadistic to yourself) from a can that has been in the fridge for 1 day and the have cold but not too cold vanilla ice cream (the vanilla bean kind) with 3 or 4 scoops. It is probably the best thing that you can ever have.

None. I couldn't stand the idea of ice cream melting into a fizzy drink. The texture combination would be unbearable.

Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear :P
You don't have to apologize, i agree, the texture and feeling is not appealing but the taste is what matters. I was discussing the other day with my mom how i don't find soda appeling cause of the fizz, that the flavor is fine just the fizz is not. I usually buy bottles and shake it until is all gone before drinking it. I don't like eating some food for same reasons, the texture of water mellon is unappeling, Beans and peas and corn have that skin that get stuck between the teeth gaps and gumbs, is just how it is.

Root beer pop
Vanilla ice cream

I haven't had on in years.
What brand of root beer? You don't mean the one with the dog on it right? MUG. :P

huuu, never even thought about mixing them.
not sure why I would either, I'm fine eating ice cream alone without it bathing in any liquid (other than melting itself).

Coke is a bit too sweet for me, but overall they are pretty much the same.
