I ask this since I have a Pokémon X cart I bought on release day. I has always served me well, until a coulple days ago. I saved the game, and when I restarted the console and get onto it again, it said the data was corrupted. No issue, as I have plenty of backups.
What's bugging me is that now when I restore the save, or create a new file and save, etc, the game corrupts all the time. The pins are clear, I tried different consoles, one without any update patches, nothing works. It always corrupt. So I guess the NAND partition used to save in the cart is done? I thought these type of memory could last many years even with strong usage.
