Hello everyone!
First thing I wanna say, this is my first thread, so please be nice, will you:)

So lets start at the beginning,
I homebrewed my 4.3E wii a few weeks ago. When I heard of backup loaders, I went directly to the media store to get myself a hard drive, and setted up and installed all the things that are needed. Everything was fine and worked perfectly, but when I tried to start a game, usb loader gx did not show me a popup where you can see the disc art, rate the game and press cancel or play (or something.)

Instead of that, it brought me directly into the game and played as it is supposed to do. So I was thinking: are my options not the same, was this changed in an update, etc.?
I know this is not really a problem, and maybe this post is a little big for a question like this, (sorry for that!), but is someone able to tell me the answer at my queation? I would really appreciate that.
Thanks!

I'm almost sure I am. I tried updating usb loader gx a trillion times, and downloaded covers trough usb loader gx and gametdb.com.
Altough, I can live with that till now, because its functioning as it should. It's just really frustrating when you accidentely select the wrong game:D

Check the lower-left corner of the screen when the loader is initializing or the upper-right corner of the credits screen. If it shows a "c" after the version number in the latter then you're using the discontinued full channel version and that could be your problem. It doesn't receive updates anymore.

If it doesn't show the revision number on the startup screen then it's not current. You can find the latest dol version here.

Okay, gonna check that out!
Btw if the version that I'm using is discontinued, is the code site from google a place that is up-to-date? Because that, or the gbatemp thread is the place where I downloaded it from, I'm not really sure about it anymore because of some advises on the internet which told me to download it from the gbatemp thread and other advises that told me to download it from the google code site...

EDIT: Oh wait sorry about that last part... I didn't read your whole reply:D

You probably enabled "fast boot" (or quick boot, or something telling it's doing it faster) setting.

googlecode sgutdown all their projects.
We moved to sourceforge.
It seems the internal updater can't download the latest dol from googlecode archived projects, so you'll have to update manually.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/
don't use the installer (it will still download from googlecode), instead just take the latest 7z file and extract it to your SD or USB.
current version is 1260.

Ps: yeah, I know, I should update the links on gbatemp's thread.

I did some searching in the settings and found the setting "fast boot" turned on as you said. It is working now, thanks! To be sure I had the latest version I downloaded the latest version from the link you sent, but it looks like I had already the current version.
