All cfw can play backups in similar ease of use. The most convenient cfw for noobs is luma, which has lots of features without need to know all the technical stuff...

Also i know most people aren't going to say this but it's also possible to play backups on official firmware using a sky3ds+ but yeah, luma3ds cfw is better if you can.

"Not familiar". Yeah I don't think Corbenik should be suggested.

Luma3DS is the way to go!
Your OPINION based comment is respected. :creep:
Though my comment still stands as my personal recommendation. Facts are probably lumacfw is most used compared to the others and all cfw can be used for backups. But each persons opinion is different.

The link list advice on what cfw he may want to choose. That is all i provided.:)

I agree, just saying IMO I would give something easier setup and not that much power to a noob. I also really like corbenik!

All must learn sometime. The link will provide all necessary information if he wish to use corbenik or not. ALL CFW deserves a home on someones 3DS :P

Seriously yes i know corbenik is a bit of advance and luma was made for cfw beginners but expanding options is always a good thing. :)

Okay, but consider this:

He's a noob, and unless you configure corbenik properly you will brick if you upgrade with a9lh (or have a9lh removed on o3ds, but w/e).

Don't suggest advanced CFWs to noobs, it's just a recipe for disaster.

There is also Puma33DS which is a more configurable version of Luma but still just as safe (but always make sure you have a recent nand backup, preferably a recent one and an older one) since it doesn't allow disabling of the firm0/firm1 protection. While it does allow you to disable the eshop/nzone/spotpass update autodownload patches that isn't a big deal since Puma is a9lh only. Apparently it also lets you use the Verbose ErrDisp patch without losing access to the eShop as well. The only thing I don't know is if it has the latest NTR/TWL patches yet.

Thank you everyone for replying I just have a few more questions to ask please bare with me im still noob.

I currently have a N3DS with Ver.10.7.0-32E.

How do I remove the micro SD card and turn off wifi because I cant seem to find any physical button for wifi and not microSD card slot plus I'm not 100% sure what to follow I would highly appreciate a guide to the right direction I cant seem to find anything on the forums.

Thank you. :)

You remove micro sd card by loosening the two screws on the backplate and pulling off! You will then see the slot. You can turn off wifi by going to the top left corner on your home menu (click it on bottom screen). And then set Wifi to off. Also this is THE DEFINITE guide: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki

Honestly, they all work perfectly fine. You shouldn't get a CFW based on playing backups (because they are all able to do that) but rather what specialty features they offer or ease of use. Luma3DS is one of the best starter CFW to use. It has some options, but it pretty much runs itself once you check a few boxes in the options.
Once you learn more about the 3ds and what specific patches do, you can move onto a more poweruser-friendly CFW like Corbenik. It has far more options to allow you to customize it to your exact needs, such as running an "OFW" 11.0 emuNAND to test exploits and entrypoints (no patches enabled).

So if you are new to the CFW scene, then probably Luma is your best choice for now.

I would use luma to get started, and then through learning by reading these forums overtime (which is how I gained most of my knowledge of the 3ds) the user can learn exactly what each patch does and from there switch over to Corbenik.

@TheVinAnator @TheCyberQuake Thanks for the speedy response do you guys have a recommend video tutroial on how install Luma3DS one that you recommend since im concerned if I pick the wrong one i might brick.
to install luma you literally just download the latest non-dev version from github, open the .zip on your computer and put the arm9loaderhax.bin from that zip onto the root of your SD card.
If you mean how to install A9LH, because if that is the case DO NOT use youtube videos.

Edit: I assumed A9LH like a retard, you need luma.dat on SD as well as the 3ds folder from the zip instead of arm9loaderhax.bin, which will boot from HBL/menuhax IF YOU AREN'T USING A9LH
