I was playing the demo and I was able to kill a malfesto in 15 minutes.... with dual blades
idk if you guys think that specials make the game op since they can be stopped... like being smacked in the air during a aerial spin slash... do they break mhx???

Specials in MHX do not make the player overpowered. It's more of your abilities plus the weapons and armor skills you choose to take into a particular monster hunt that makes or breaks the player - just like the previous MH games.

It almost seems like you're saying Dual Blades suck... I like DBs >: ( Anyway! You're rarely stupidly overpowered unless you make varied sets and know what to use against what monster and when. And if you ever feel like you're too strong, or that the game isn't a challenge, just do the hunt naked! Or wearing a towel. Since that is an armour set.

ok because, its just becoming too easy these days... I really gotta get the full game to know for sure
It's as easy as you make it. Giving overpowered skills makes the game accessible to newer players, but doesn't force veterans into making their experience easier. You have a lot of control over the difficulty of the game.
