My TV was bought at 2011.I had CRT monitor before that, 640x480 resolution. The new TV was 1920x1080 HD and supports stereoscopic 3D support. I was an primary schooler back then and knew nothing about resolutions but still was excited just by seeing how large the new TV is.
But it wasn't long before that cool TV turned out to be a sh*t. Dad connected Wii to the new TV and I played my favorite game, New Super Mario Bros. Wii on the new TV. And I felt something wrong. Every control seemed terribly delayed. I can't perform any accurately timed controls. This LG 3D TV boasted about its resolution, monitor size and stereoscopic 3D support, but they didn't care about gaming at all.
I had to abandon the game, which I was almost to the bowser's castle. And I never got to play it again since then.
Most other games that are less strict about input timing seem to be playable, but still I can sense significant delay. If I connect my laptop to the TV by HDMI and play games I play on laptop, the gameplay becomes significantly different.

Anyone has a similar experience with me?

A lot of modern tv's apply filters to upscaled images and even full hd images. Check your settings for anything resembling 'game mode' or anything that looks like it will remove any smoothing as this takes time to do. Any setting that mentions making in picture quality worse, will reduce the amount of delay.

I enabled the game mode and still it's like that.

It is not fine with my laptop. I can sense big differences when I connect my laptop to TV. And I'm sure it's the TV because the Wii was fine with previous TV and the laptop is fine with another LCD TV.
