So..... yeah let's go there now. Next month in september, this game will be 4 years old, from is release date back in 2012 september, this game has manged to pull street fighter like updates (With DOA5 Ultimate and Last round) Each one bringing new things to the table.

First intial release has Vitrual fighter guest characters, Akira, Pai and Sarah, second release ultiamte, added Jacky and some other missing characters from the series, and included some new ones like Momiji (A character only featured in Ninja gaiden and dynasty warriors) Maria rose, and Honoka, and last round added 2 additional characters, one i never heard of before but the other is dated to be released september and is Mai Shiranui from SNK series Fatal fury/King of fighters series.)

With new content for characters comes with the reason why i made this claim, the costumes. over the spand of the 4 years since day one to now, has been FLOODING COSTUMES IN DLC FORMAT. From licensed anime to video games, Tatsunoko, Senran kagura, Sengoku series, Attack on titan, Fairy tale, even FALCOM (currently well known by YS series and many others) and now soon, King of fighters costumes. There is been many costume updates one character has least more than 30 costumes, mostly female for some reason. So this is why i made this claim, if i am wrong please let me know, proove it to me, this is expensive! I may be exaggerating but i bet all the dlc for this game adds up to over $2000

By the way, i know that buying retail upgrade should include all the previous version dlc which is fair if you are new to buying the game. But for someone who has owned the original game before upgrades, is different perspective, you never expected this from this game. So try to understand the position people are coming from. Like buying a game that suddenly now is free to play.

google has a ton of images for them, though i did quickly make my own :P
Because making a screenshot like that is a pain in the ass. The most important was the total cost at the bottom.
For future reference, an easy way of doing that if you use Firefox is to press Shift+F2 to bring up a special developer console, then type "screenshot --fullpage". It'll take one massive screenshot of the entire webpage. After that, just open it in a decent image editor and crop out the parts you don't need.

Well, I had it open directly in Steam, but good to know for the future, thanks.

Are all of those repeating dlc? Cause if they are, i won't count that. If there is dlc mixed with a bundle and then relisting the same kind of dlc you can find in the bundle, then is it really a point to having that?

For Train Simulator? No, those are all separate. There are 286 separate DLC for the game, for a total of $5,421.84 USD. The devs actually refuse to make a general "all DLC bundle", they've stated various times that they don't expect anyone to buy all that DLC, they expect them to buy their favorite train sets and routes and that's it. Is it an obvious cash grab? Absolutely. Is anyone going to buy all that DLC? Not at all.

Someone sort of calculated how much space all that DLC would take up, I can't remember the exact numbers (and apparently I can't find it anymore) but it was something like ~125GB for every single DLC installed (they average between 50mb-2GB).

There are a couple reasons why they're so expensive, too. IIRC, the devs have to pay license fees to put actual train models in the game, and each DLC adds in "routes" that are modeled after real-world train routes which take a lot of time and stuff to design and develop.
