why? the cfw luma3ds +al9h is region free i think... you only need the sysnand and freeshop for download games of all region.

well one It would be cool, and I kinda want to be legit, can I use a translater for japan emunand? I saw a tutorial for somewhere cant find it though.

eShop will probably not work on the region changed emuNANDs anyway so there's not much point.

Don't know, I think the servers can still tell that the 3DS does not belong to that region.
I've heard claims of ways to get it working, but no confirmation that anyone actually got it working.

I have a n3ds (non-xl) japan region, with al9h, and an USA emunand. It is possible, it works just fine, difference in boot time is just about 1-2 seconds, but eshop for usa emunand does not work and it never will work.

I think the way to get eShop working on region-changed Old3DS is to delete the eShop account before doing it.
