I've been a Menuhax peasant for a long time, and I've never upgraded to A9LH, because the procedure was too long and complicated for me, and I was afraid of getting my New 3DS bricked, even though it's almost impossible to get a brick if I follow the guide perfectly.

So, is the new guide better? Is it faster/easier/safer to set up?

I've never done it myself but I did a lot of mods using the old guide. I've read the new one and it seems most of all the time-consuming parts(mostly nand back-ups) have been removed so yeah, it's a lot easier/faster now.

Yes , it is considerably faster and safer due to the new ctrnand procedure.
You can switch to the master race with no problems, and now it is even more simple.
You won't regret it ;)
About how long does it take to set it up using this new guide?
I heard the old one took about 5 hours.

This one takes way less time because you won't have to make an emunand, format twice, update, and downgrade to 2.1 using update packs and unbrick, and not having to make emunand backups ,etc, so should save about (2 hours?)
For me , this would take Like an hour :P

an hour or so if you aren't slow. this doesn't include file copying to remove the emu/rednand though.

Some say two, but I guess to the ones who have doing it since the old guide can make it to 1 hour or less

Thanks, I may try this today when I'll have some free time.

Just done a old 3ds 9.2 using the new guide. Piece of piss now but was never hard before using the old guides. This is very simplified and people should not complain about updating to a9lh now.

The new guide is simply amazing. I followed the guide months ago, when it still took hours to complete. I can imagine that old guide looked a bit overwhelming to some people, but this one really simplifies the whole process.

Well I used the old guide for like 7 3ds and it took around 4 hours and 30 minutes to finish the installation. The new guide took me around 45 minutes and that's just awesome :)

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
