Hacking Is a Vita demo unit worth buying?

I've come across one, it's cheap. Will this offer me any interesting benefits over retail? Will this have drawbacks? Maybe even entry points unavailable for standard units?
I know nothing, tell me stuff.

not really worth it since retail vitas on 3.60 can install demo mode with the use of henkaku and do pretty much the same stuff. except the retail units have the option to stay out of demo mode.

From a collectors perspective it's worth picking up.

From a users perspective it's pointless.

I had a demo unit for years that I never used because demo mode was annoying.

but recently with the demo mode switcher tool I turned it into a normal vita and I couldn't be happier.


so if you don't have a vita yet and it's cheaper than buying a normal one then go for it if you plan to transform it into a normal one. but if you just want it for the demo unit stuff I don't know why you would and you can turn a normal vita into demo mode now so if you already have a vita it would be pointless.
