Hey guys big CFW noob here, sorry for not explaining or doing things right I'm totally new to this.

I decided to follow plailect's guide using a 10.7 N3DS, all was going well until I ran into issues during section 3 and 6 of part 5.

Section 3 Configuring Luma3DS Part 2:

Use the A button and the D-Pad to turn on the following:

  • "Autoboot SysNAND"
  • "SysNAND is updated"
  • "Force A9LH detection"
  • "Show current NAND in System Settings"
  • "Show GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM"
In the Luma3DS v6.0.1 configuration menu, I am only able to select "Autoboot SysNAND" + "Show current NAND in System Settings" Will this cause any problems seeing as though I can't select the others?

Section 6 Finalizing Setup Part 9:

  1. 9) Open Health and Safety (which is now FBI)

At this point I'm not even sure if I'm booting to LumaCFW, the previous step says to update CFW Sysnand. (My device now says Sys 11.0.0-33E in settings) Is there any way to find out If I'm actually booting into CFW?

The step above is preventing me from making any further progress, upon booting to the home menu opening the H&S app results in normal H&S information instead of FBI. So I tried installing the FBI.cia app via homebrew launcher and I'm presented with the error message:

    "Failed to acquire kernel access."

S
o yeah I'm pretty much hit a brick wall and have absolutely no idea how to resolve this and desperate for some help. It probably doesn't help that I was up till 4AM doing, so mistakes may have been made although I made sure I followed every step precisely.

Cheers guys!

You need to follow Section II of Part 4 of Plailect's guide, replacing the words emuNAND with sysNAND. The only exception is that you need to launch Decrypt9 from your Luma payloads (by pressing X then pressing the Power button to boot into Decrypt9) and NOT from the Homebrew Launcher.

As for the Luma3DS options, replace the arm9loaderhax.bin from Luma3DS v6.0.1 with the arm9loaderhax.bin in Luma3DS v5.5 and delete the config.bin file from your luma folder then select the options in the guide. After you finish the guide completely, replace the arm9loaderhax.bin from v5.5 with the arm9loaderhax.bin from v6.0.1 and delete the config.bin file. Then select select Autoboot SysNAND, Show current NAND in System Settings, Use SysNAND FIRM if booting with R, and Show GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM.

Okay sorry to bug you again, but there's something that's annoying me. Every time I boot my 3DS I have to unwrap all the installed apps every time I want to use them (stuff like homebrew, fbi, luma) is there anything that I can do to disable that, so once I unwrap I won't have to do it every time? Thanks again.

That's a side effect of menuhax. Uninstalling it should fix your issues.

So did anyone report that? if anyone is doing the a9lh or menuhax, 9.2 is used and the menuhax inside the starter.zip is 2.1 and supports 9.2, menuhax was created for higher firmware like 10.6 and 11.0.
A lot of people are having to unwrap their icons after installing menuhax.

OP doesn't even need menuhax.
