you are using luma, so it has a few security measures done to cover that.

but we will never know what nintendont will do next so we are never 100% safe if we don't have a backup. :)
Not just Luma, all CFW running on A9LH have these protections set in place

On topic, you should always be safe to update your 3DS with A9LH, so long as your CFW has FIRM 0/1 protection (which all active ones do, minus Gateway.)
Nintendo actually can't target A9LH because a targeted update like that would brick the system and have a risk of bricking non-hacked systems. This is not a risk Nintendo would be willing to take, not even to stop piracy.
Of course, I always suggest waiting until Hardmod users update first and report back. Sure it's unlikely an issue could happen, but it's worth waiting the few extra minutes. Plus most updates from Nintendo aren't worth shit. I also suggest backing up your NAND before updating, just cause reasons.

your link pretty responds to all my questions :D
Yep the only facts people want to update was for playing online, always i will keep a backup of my SysNAND.
i have tested SKY3DS Orange im pretty disappointed .. you cant playing online without private headers and you need to spent 100$ Usd to get it.
(WHY SKY3DS not giving a private header free with the cartridge, and you need to press the button to change the game.. 45 games on a sd that boring to find a game)
(the console was protected.. so no chance to runs region free games without HB ..)
now i followed the guide of plailect to install A9HL With Luna3DS and the console was region free.. i can play online with no risk of ban..

10/10 on Plailect Guide (But maybe no all people can install a CFW without problems.(Brick console ect.)
6/10 on SKY3DS Orange.. (you dont need to CFW you need it.(some people without experiance can dump a headers and using it for playing online but you have a chance of ban)

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
