So I really want to replace the bcstm files in New Leaf to the Gamecube music. I already have the bcstm files and need to know how to put it in. I have some experience with Wii hacking but am new to 3DS Homebrew. So a few questions I have

Is there any thing like Gecko OS for the 3DS?

If not what should I use?

Will this app permanently replace the music?

And can I have a text tutorial on his to do this?

PS: I did try figuring this out on my own but I haven't really found a clear tutorial for this.

Doesn't this game use sequenced music?

If it does, there's no way to convert bcstm to a sequenced music format
It uses streams. It has some sequenced pieces, but they're insignificant. I think they might be those radio tunes, actually.
Maybe? I actually don't know where this one appears.

@Thelostrune
Weird…
This sounds drastically different from the midi I've gotten by converting with cseq2midi, I only have 1 or 2 instruments.
But I remember one of those K.K. Slider remixes from YouTube came with a download link which had a Go K.K. Rider midi from ACWW–
It sounds identical to the one you linked. IIRC I even have it saved somewhere.

I wish I could upload the midi of the same song I've gotten with cseq2midi, though it's hard to find inbetween all those mids starting with 0xBLARGRNDMSTUFF.

By the way, I know I'm bumping a nearly six-month old thread here, but I really want this solved for once and have faithful ACNL midis with a good sound font–
I have all bcwavs converted to wav files but they are just staying untouched.

EDIT:
Nope, the midi you linked definitely isn't in my rip.
Not even one midi I ripped is as big as that one (26 KB, btw), mine are usually around 1 KB.

E 2: minor text fixes

Actually, this has already been done by the amazing @herolarcio (although I'm not sure if he's releasing it yet...)

Here it is!

Umm…
I might be blind, but there is no trace of a soundfont nor a mention of directly ripped sequences/mids.
Though I didn't expect an answer, really, so thanks for looking for something–funnily enough, I already stumbled upon that thread not too long ago.
I must have searched nearly everywhere already… =P

They're music swaps. I didn't even read your comment, I was responding to the OP :P
