Tutorial NOOB friendly guide to Downgrading your 3DS (From FW <10.7!!)

When i went to that link in the browser my bottom screen started to change color but is now stuck at yellow, did i do something wrong/what should i do now sorry again for being a noob

Download the homebrew starter kit here: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
extract it and copy the 3ds folder and boot.3dsx to the root of your SD card
insert the SD card on your 2ds
then go to your 2ds browser, click the url and then write this http://yls8.mtheall.com/spider31hax.php
Then click go
NOTE: It is recomended you clear cookies and historial to increase the chance of it working, initializing save data also works (it should be better)

In the HBL just select menuhax manager, install it, profit!

Then follow this guide.

Im sorry if this is not the best way to explain this, someone please correct me if Im wrong!

That happens most of the times, just keep trying, try clearing history and cookies or just initialize save data

I'm getting somewhere only now when i try to install the menuhax i get error 0x00000002 i looked it up and apperantly it's outdated??? Thanks a lot for your help so far btw

I have no clue what to do right now, apperantly there should be menuhax v3 i think? But i have the 2.2 in homebrew. I found the file but can you please tell me how to get it in there?

I downloaded that V3 file do i replace the files in there with the old files that are already on the sd or do i just copy them to for example E:\

Done that and it wil say v3 now but when i'm trying to install it will say:

Config download failed(0xd8a0a049)
trying to load it from sd...
Failed to load config from SD: 0x00000002.
Failed to load config: 0x00000002.

So what can i do now?

After you have installed the .cias, you can delete those files

While downgrading, (looked like it was working a lot of updates were installed) i got an error saying i had to restart my 2ds.
Now when i restart with my sd card in it, i only get blackscreens. When i restart without the sd card it will work.
Now i saw that i could try to change the theme to fix it, but it won't allow me to change the theme without sd card so when i put the sd card in after restarting it will freeze within 2 seconds. In the system settings it will say i'm now on 9.2.0-20E, but i assume it's only partially downgraded. Any advice on what to do now? (still a noob)

Hi everyone I'm just new here and wanna say thanks a lot for the great tutorial. I'd successfully downgraded my N3DS from 10.7 to 9.2. I used Freakyhax(via my sky3ds) as my entrypoint. Just follow the instructions carefully and double check always to avoid accidental brick.

Hello, I downgraded a 2ds with plailect guide and I am having issues with battery life on sleep mode, is this normal? When using the system I have no battery life issues it runs for 4.5 - 5 hours as expected on full brightness and intermittent WiFi. But when I put it on sleep mode with a full battery I get flashing red after 6 to 7 hours instead of the stock "3 days" . almost as if the system does not actually go into sleep mode and just turns of the screens. What could be the issue or what should I be checking ?

Okay so try this maybe:
1. Turn on 3DS without SD
2. Put in SD
3. Change theme
