Hey so I am a little new to PSN still. I know some new releases have went out specificly towads PlayStation III, but I am looking for something a little Diffrent.

You see long story short. I can't play Mature rated games at my age yet, until I'm 17, or 20 basically becuase I live a few other people around (Younger folks.) So games that use an explicit amount of swear words you would normally find in GTA 5 is a no I can't play that until I'm off to college or move (sad face)

Anyways I was looking for some good Rated E - Teen Games. I can't really find a lot of good games being made at that age specificly, it seems all the M Ratings of titles are the best game titles.

Going off the list of what I can, and cannot get;

1. Cannot get teen rated games with loads of violence in it. Dark Souls II as an example.

2. Cannot get a game with lots of explicit sex (This basically means seeing stuff you shouldn't if you get what I mean.)

3. Alchohal References/Drinking in game is fine.

4. Minimum violence is fine. It depends on the game really.

Going off the list what I already have;
Infamous (Pyre Night.) (Basically vampire story game.)
Uncharted 3
Castle Crashers
Fat Princess

Side note: Restricted to play the three games in my library. Jak & Daxter 1, 2, and 3. Due to it being made in the 90's my parents believe it will have references to boobs, or what not since games with animation were Different during those days (Faceplam.)

Thanks,

Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Some anime games, Naruto, One Peice, Bleach.
Tekken Tag Tournement 2
Final Fantasy series. FFX Hd remaster. FF XIII RPG GAMES
Star ocean IV
Tales Series, Tales of symphonia Chronicles, Tales of vesperia, Tales Of Xillia
Little big planet RACING GAMES
Sonic Sega all star racing.
Just some i can name off my mind :)

If you were limited to non mature games, you probably should have a nintendo console :D

Dark Souls II is rated Teen. GTA 5 is well yeah rated M (duh.) But I never listed it :P.

My dad got it for me at one point. He bought it digitally but never looked at the game rating in the top right corner (LOL.) I got it taken away from me for reasons tho.

Also thanks :D.

Just wanted to update my status on the whole M rated business.

So after talking to my parents for a few hours about what may be appropriate, and what's not I finally got them to talk to me about what may be appropriate. After I bumped into this channel; https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCLhPBgfug7kXB8Ng0dQkuqw

At first I wanted to get COD III, just to play the zombie mode and multiplayer. But the campaign has gross scenes to make it to the point where it seems like it would be inerpropriate for me. However Zombies, and Multiplayer is only what I wanted to play. After researching more about the game I found it impossible to avoid so I can't play any COD Games unless it has parental controls that block gore, certian cutscenes, or game modes.

However what I did find more appropriate for my age was Just Cause III. I think it's a great game to play since it's the least violent I have found that it's genre suits me well.

And it wouldn't be a problem playing it becuase I can just mute the volume completely, or use head phones to prevent people hearing things just in case.

Also I found these two great PS3 Titles as well for Teen Users.

Split/Second
Space Invaders Triliogy (A game similar to space invaders but has been improved drastically to make it better by all means, and make it a rail shooter.)

Since when does COD rely on the campaign? :P
Anyway, some Sonic game would be great.

It doesn't lawl.
Even when you tell your kid "Don't play that" they will do it anyway. Similar to myself, but I won't go as far as going agasint my parents word if we talked about something, or we have to do something.

But again it's COD the story has a stupid amount of violence in the campaign which can't be avoided :/.

Also I noted that there was Strong Langluge in the game. But I been seeing people saying that it has almost none, or any. So I am getting confused here with ESRB's terms of rating.

Edit: Also thanks for the recommendation :P.

If i remember correctly, That is if you mean Call of duty Modern warfare 3 cause COD III is very vague...
There is some offensive scenes that can be skipped if you tell the game to at the beginning. Is a optional skip like the contraversial one inn MW2 Where you kill all the passengers at the airport. I think either you skip pass the whole scene or just watch it instead of actually play it.

Second I thought Zombie mode was BLACK OPS ONLY THING So if i am wrong, then okay, i am wrong.

And third. I did say sonic game. Your better off buying those like sonic CD from psn for $5 or sonic ultimate genesis collection or sonic generations, While split second i never played sonic sega racing transformed, sonic smash tennish or whatever is called i heard was nice. But some PSN games is better considered since not many are above Teen Rating :)

Even a fighting game is good. Just don't get dead or alive 5 Is rated M for obvious reason. (You know why)
If cursing or swearing isn't a problem, Guilty gear xrd revelator, Blazblue chrono phantasm,
Even ultra street fighter 4 or Tekken tag tournement 2 or whatever, Virtual fighter 5.

Just some to name a few. Mostly platformer games are lower rating :)

This is how it works for at least B03, first off hardly anyone plays campaign that's not what cod is for and second off you can disable graphic content. So basically there is VERY minimal blood and no swearing at all

"Hardly anyone plays campaign that's not what COD is for" Is debatable, is there as a option to play just like multiplayer and zombies. Unlike a game like Counterstrike where there is no campaign and all games are played online multiplayer that is different. If someone has access to playing campaign and his parents are trying to be responsible for his assurance of content rating is their decision. Simply cause it an option it has a story and you can play is why the game has the rating it does. If there was no campaign the rating could be lower or even just remove the "Strong language" Or whatever since muitlplayer has no such thing (Not counting people who speak on microphone since even esrb doesn't keep track of that rating. It always says content for online modes are not rated cause it has dynamic things not managed within player control)

There other games you may enjoy besides FPS and m rated games like i suggested. :)

That is up to him if his parents wanna see you beating the snot out of famous disney characters with a giant key blade. :P
They are fine with it as long as it's not rated M. Sucks to see a good game and can legitmately play my age I can't becuase of the campaign :/.

Also thanks for the World At War suggestion. I went ahead and looked up the PS2 Version and it was rated Teen. But the PS3 Version is rated M :wtf:.

Just a note; Any teen rated game is fine by any means as long as it's not something like Dark Souls II. My parents allow me to play those games but I have to keep it on the low down since I live with younger people, and E, E 10+ is completely fine. Is there by chance a PC Version of the PS2 Version of the game (I don't want to end up getting a game where it's more violent then expected.)

Also thanks for the help guys. I might just get Destiny, and probably a few other games me and my sisters can enjoy.

Also wanted to update the M Rated Scene. I can technically play M rated games but I would need one of my parents to play the game, and decide whether or not the game would be appropriate for myself. Following that I would need to play with headphones for obvious reasons, my Mom gives me a chance to atleast decide whether or not the game would be appropriate, but like wise with my Dad he's more strict and follows the ESRB Ratings completely (Besides E & E 10+ Ratings.) So appealing this to him may, or may not be necessary useful... Of course the game has to be something less erm violent than most M Rated Games, sex, etc... Left out.

Or of course I could just wait until I'm 18 and take online college but again I'm an inpatient person.

Just get teen rated games, the ones i mentioned are all under m rated, even little big planet is fine, But it would help if you told people what kind of games you prefer to play instead of just random naming games out of your possibility :P

If you're into puzzles/exploration/collecting kinda games then I recommend FEZ. No gore, no curses. And a kickin soundtrack.
I think he is only asking about retail games so i dunno, correct me if i am wrong, since if he can't play any mature rated games he kinda wouldn't be old enough to access playstation store unless his parents i guess allowes dlc as a option, then there is a decent varitey of games, One i think was interesting was Dustforce. :)

Whoops, my bad.
In that case I recommend Shadow of the Colossus, it does feature killing colossi, but there isn't really gore and there's no curses from what I can remember. And if possible I highly recommend getting the ps3 remastered version over the original ps2 version.
Here's a gameplay video if you're interested (this is the ps2 version I believe):
