No company raids people for exploits. It's not against any law, as far as I'm aware. It only voids your warranty.

Here, here! I feel the exact same way! Also, it was absolutely unnessecary of him to delete his Github account as well, because I was researching a lot of his work for the PS Vita! (early webkit exploits)

Well, technically there is the DMCA, but if anyone ever used that to prosecute someone I think we would all boycott them.
