hopefully this is in the right area but i'm having trouble playing games, specifically pokemon ash gray on the ez flash iv? it just displays a white screen.

i've used the ez4 client and the game works fine on my computer so i'm kind of stuck on what to do. I've seen people use a hex editor to fix this issue although i have one downloaded i never learned how to use it?

if anybody knows how to make a patch to fix it (with the current version of the game) or has any tips on how to fix this issue i would appreciate it a lot thank you!!

Pokemon Ash Gray works on the EZ IV in both PSRam and NOR. That white screen might indicate a save problem. Did you have 'Add Save Patch' ticked in the the EZ Client?
Try the attached patch on a clean FireRed (US) (v1.0 (not v1.1/rev1)) rom (CRC 'DD88761C'), or on a clean Ash Gray (v4.5.3b) rom (CRC '10EF71A7').
The blank 128k save attached, rename it to the same filename as your rom and copy it to your 'Saver' folder. eg:
Pokemon Ash Gray (v4.5.3b).gba
Pokemon Ash Gray (v4.5.3b).sav

thank you for trying to help me although unfortunately i'm still getting the white screen. i found another version of fire red just to make sure it's v.10 and patched it with your attached .ips file and put that into the gba folder and then used your .sav file in the saver folder too but still had no luck...! (they have the same names too).

I don't know then. Using that patch, it works fine on my EZ IV. If it helps, the CRC of the patched rom is '15661939', and I'm using the v1.77 kernel with my own skin here:
