Were you not around for early 3ds flash carts? Or DS flash carts for that matter. Probably also GBA but I had nice emulators at that point so eh.

Some pirates will stop at nothing if it means they don't have to buy games. Convenience is perhaps the most important factor but various scenes have shown that it's not the only one.

Yes well those methods are ALLOT easier than what we have going on with the vita.

Now they are, the first stuff with gateways and neoflash and dodgy GBC era flash carts for the 3ds, DS and GBA respectively were not easy and yet they still sold.
Now I am not sure what to expect on the vita as all the others were a clear cut case of "wait 2 months and something actually good will appear" where this is not, however even with that the first pass stuff on those others still sold.

when i was a kid pirating was more cooler...

you know, when i was a kid i didn't had a job and had school, so legally to get a game i just had to ask dad for money, and there ya go.. had the game...
however in pirating i had to somewhat work for get the game running and working..
"working to get the game" and then playing it, was a really good experience...

spending the hours to download the game and patching stuff to make it work it was a cool game itself...
