I got a problem with my USBLoader GX recently, I havent used my Wii U in 2 years. So I wanted to play again, and put 2 Wii Games and 1 Gamecube game, but the loader only detects the Gamecube game, and not the wii.

I installed homebrew channel and usbloader gx on other wii the same day, and put the same games and it worked, so I dont think the ISOs are the problem. Maybe the IOS or something.

Please help.

Using:
Wii 4.2
USBLoader GX R1260 (Last version working 1250)
USB FAT 32 (32 kb cluster) (With WBFS folder and Games Folder for Nintendont)

At the top of the screen there should be a row of buttons. One of which changes the filter of what is shown; I had this same problem a while ago.

If you've used a backup manager, you should have a wbfs file

A folder in the root of your SD card needs to be added named 'wbfs', which you can then put the file in

Ok, my USB is doing weird things, I added more games to it, and the USB loader only shows 2 Games, and now dont show the GCN games. First I just have a Gamecube game and Mario Galaxy, mario galaxy didnt show up, but the GCN game. Then I put new super mario bros wii, then the Banner of the GCN game disappeared but I could still launching it on other list mode. THEN I put super paper mario and Galaxy (Again) the GCN game completly disapeared and only Appear NSMB and Paper Mario.
What the hell!?

I used backupmanager, so... Im sure they are on the USB, and the USB have the games. Also is Formated on FAT32, and 32Kb of cluster.
Quote about FAT32 from HowToGeek
Individual files on a FAT32 drive can’t be over 4 GB in size
It could be caused by data in the wbfs file being overwritten as the file cannot exceed 4GB

Try formatting your drive to NTFS, then try again with the wbfs
Be sure to copy everything over though

Why NTFS? And never WBFS! Wii games work fine from FAT32 no matter what size. Just use Wii Backup Manager to copy them to the drive and set it to split the files.

I've only actually made successful backups with Configurable USB Loader, which saved all the games as seperate wbfs files, and have only used the backup program for converting to iso, so it doesn't need to be NTFS

NTFS could still be used as it doesn't have a file size limit and you don't have to split - just a suggestion

Oh, on, I meant WBFS as a partition type. The files are ok.

You can use CleanRip to back up discs straight to 1:1 ISO, too.

Maybe format the USB to fat32 and then download the newest version of Wii Backup Manager and then use it to transfer your WBFS games to the USB. If it won't work then you can always try to format the USB with Wii Backup Manager to WBFS (which I don't recommend, I've formatted one of my USBs this way and half of the time it isn't detected).

It is already formatted to FAT32, and probably already used the Wii Backup Manager you're talking about

@MrLuigix64
Try formatting to NTFS, and then copy your Wii Backup File System (or simply WBFS) file containing your games back onto your USB

I don't necessarily know if split WBFS files cause problems or if certain things may be getting overwritten, but switching to NTFS removes the 4GB file size limit for each item, so everything is stored in one file

I mean that you should try to reformat it.

If you're transferring your games to wbfs files with Wii Backup Manager you just need to go into the settings and tell it to split files at the 4GB boundary and they will work fine.

Incidentally, if you're transferring Super Smash Bros Brawl you should use WIT instead. WBM corrupts the partition table for that game.

I'm currently stuck with this.. I go to USB Loader GX and all it shows are my Gamecube games, even though Wii is checked.. Also my external HDD is FAT32 32but clusters, 2TB, and runs Gamecube games great. The games are also split into 4Gigs each and placed into my HDD as wbfs format, with Wii Backup Manager.. I really do not know how to make to Wii games appear! I've been stuck on this for an entire 3 days.. What am I doing wrong?
