So I've been following the guide up until this part where I can't boot into Hourglass9 by holding start. I tried renaming the buttons to left, x, y, still nothing. Similarly, i can't launch into decrypt9 or emunand9 while holding x/y. I can still get into Luma's screen while holding select. What should i do?

Remove your SD. Now boot.
Does it turn off immediately?

Did you put the Hourglass payload inside luma/payloads folder?

Yes i have.

Okay, good you have arm9loaderhax installed. Just delete the arm9loaderhax in the root of the SD card and extract the hourglass9 .bin payload to the root
Then rename it to arm9loaderhax.bin .

Done. Do i boot now? Do i have to hold any buttons?

Do you have any *nand.bin file in the root of your SD?
Do you have the backup in the SD Card?

Yeah i do. When i first backed it up i renamed it to emuNAND_original.bin and emuNAND_original.bin.sha respectively. So when i placed them both in the root and it didn't work the first time. So i tried renaming them both to emuNAND.bin and emuNAND.bin.sha. Still no luck.

Try renaming to sysNAND.bin
