Hacking what to do with my gateway 3ds and should i switch to cfw?

While I love my gateway 3ds I am tired of waiting for a new update on it. So any suggestions on what to do? I also own a sky3ds but with the inability to play online I rarely use it. It is mostly just to run exploits. Anyway, should I switch to CFW an if yes, what is the best way to do it?

SWITCH to luma3ds.
it's the best one.
if you wish, install arm9loaderhax.
It's the best way to use CFW.
Here's the guide I used to install Luma3DS+arm9loaderhax in 30+ 3ds systems.
It's very easy and reliable

Use the guide above, then in the tutorial section there's a guide so you can still use your gateway which effectively gives you more SD space if you have a lot of games. Just have to reboot and hold some keys to boot gateway mode.
