I recently hacked a friends 3DS and installed Luma as the CFW. It works great for booting directly into EmuNAND but for some reason, we are unable to access the homebrew menu through yellows8 homebrew launcher loader. when booting it, all we get is a yellow screen. Any help would be apreciated.

Do you have the boot.3dsx from the homebrew starter pack on the root of your SD card? Do you have the correct payload for your friend's system?

sorry to bother you again. we got into the homebrew menu, however, we wanted to boot directly into emunand and then access homebrew through the launcher loader cia, is there any way we can do that?
I have a way but I need you to upload your payload to a zip folder and give it to me please. :)

Will do. i uploaded it
Here you go. There are a few things I need to mention and a few things you need to do.

1. In the zip file attached to this post, there are 3 files. The payload, a boot.3dsx, and a hbll.3dsx. The boot.3dsx is from the latest Luma3DS release. The hbll.3dsx is for the Homebrew Launcher loader CIA.
2. I've hex edited the payload to recognize the hbll.3dsx file so that you can launch the Homebrew Launcher loader CIA.
3. The boot.3dsx will allow menuhax to autoboot into your EmuNAND.

The steps:
1. Replace the payload on her SD card with the payload in the zip file attached.
2. Replace the boot.3dsx file with the one in the zip file attached.
3. Add the hbll.3dsx file to the root of her SD card.

Through this, you should be able to autoboot into your Luma3DS EmuNAND through menuhax and be able to launch the Homebrew Launcher loader CIA on your EmuNAND. Let me know if this works!

One last question. Will this also work for the grid launcher. i wont ask for any more from you. you have done enough
I personally haven't tried the grid launcher out so I don't know the answer to that question. But here's one thing you could try: You could use the boot.3dsx file from mashers' grid launcher and rename it to hbll.3dsx. In theory, it should work.
