Sorry if wrong section. I figured this would fall under being an accessory

Which one is better? Does the Amiiqo come with the USB reader? Can you store multiple Amiibos on the NaMiiO like you can the Amiiqo?

Basically what I'm looking for is the simplest solution, capable of storing tons of Amiibos onto one device. I don't really know the pros/cons of each device. Which one is the best one for the best price? A USB reader isn't make or break, but I don't own an NFC capable Android phone (it is preferred, though) although I believe my brother does own one

I'm thinking the Amiiqo/N2 Elite is the best choice for me but just wanted to see other user's opinions. Thanks!

Amiiqo can stored 200 amiibo at once, there is a USB reader combo together with it, so if u do not have NFC capable android phone, just purchased it. NaMiiO only can store one at a time.

Not to promote my own "product" but we (me and a few others) make Amiibo cards. Actual physical cards.

Sure, an Amiiqo or other similar product stores cards, but on certain games that require the use of an Amiibo, you would have to constantly, constantly switch the active Amiibo in the Amiiqo and is thus way less desired because of the hassle.

Just sayin'

Havin a card is way better.

There's way to manually select the figure u want via the app if u had it.

Good luck! tell me what your experience with it is. I'd really like to know how easy it is to constantly switch between amiibo's
I'm expecting it to come in the mail tomorrow. The first game I was gonna test it on was Mario Maker to unlock some costumes

Obviously I can't even imagine how much of a pain it would be to switch between amiibos if you have dozens of them, but for games with one-time uses like Mario Maker or Wooly World to unlock content I'm sure it works great and serves its purpose

It'll be nice to own even if I don't use it too often simply for the convenience of it, and down the road I might pick up the USB reader if it becomes a hassle to keep using my brother's NFC-compatible phone

Well, i been using it so far for games like Amiibo friend challenge on 3ds which required constant swapping, which is great so far.

I would not said that NFC card is totally useless. I had both and i swap to Amiiqo/n2 at the end is because i always travel around and it is much easier to carry one devices than multiple cards around.

As fate would have it, I got the package in the mail today... Only to find out they had sent me the USB reader and not the actual N2 Elite. What a bummer as the listing specifically stated that it was the actual unit and not the reader. Sent a message to the Amazon seller I bought it from. Guess I'll be back to square one after this gets sorted out, but until then that's $60 out of my paycheck :(

For those who bought their Amiiqo/N2 Elite, do you remember what site you bought it from?

Huge edit:
I heard back from the Amazon seller I bought from, and they're refunding me $108! That's insane! Not only did he say I can keep the USB reader, but he'll refund the full price including shipping, and is paying me another $48 out of his own pocket in hopes for me to find one! All I gotta do is find a trusted reseller site or some third party site once the refund goes through and then I'll finally get my N2 Elite :D

Have been eyeballing them. I've explored my options on the Resellers list on the Amiiqo website and a lot of the sites look junky so it's hard to tell if any are genuine or not. I sent axiogame a message as to whether or not their stock is the Amiiqo or the N2 Elite. If it's the N2 Elite, I will probably buy from them

Both are actually the same devices, just change of sticker.

Yeah I know, but it's more of a personal taste at this point. I really hate to be picky, but considering I have an N2 Elite USB reader and an N2 Elite box right in front of me, it wouldn't "feel" right owning the Amiiqo base
Ah, ok i get what u mean :) hahaha! Good luck finding it.
