Hello, I have two PCs, both of them are not meant to be gaming PCs. Desktop is old, 32 bit system with 4GB RAM. Laptop is a relatively new, 64 bit system with 2GB RAM. Both of them have integrated graphic cards and low end CPUs so they can't be used as modern gaming PCs, but I found out they can run old games like Final Fantasy VII or GTA SA quite well! :D
So could anyone who played games in late 90s~early 2000s recommend some good old games for my low end devices? Thanks in advance.

Pinball, minswepper, rollacoaster tycoon, minecraft, undertale, half life 1, doom 1+2, quake 1+2, bioshock 1, the elder scrolls IV, and if you like Sims 1+2
All of these games should run fine on an integrated

As well as various Emulators.
An integrated card can emulate nicely any Nintendo Home Console up to the Nintendo 64(including it), every Nintendo Handheld up to the DS(barely running it) , and the Playstation 1

There's some great indie games out there that will run on a potato as well. Games like Bastion, Freedom Planet, Shovel Knight, Torchlight, Cave Story Plus, and etc. don't require much to run. Granted, if you don't like sidescrollers, you will have more limited options.

The Terrible Whiteness of Applachian Nights. It's a low-end horror game, and holy crap it's crazy.

Also gonna recommend the RPG "OFF". It's made in RPG Maker 2003, so it'll work perfectly well.

Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creators (why would nobody even mention this?)
Stardew Valley
Ys Series
Celestian Tales: Old North (proud to be Indonesian)
All are available on GoG.
if you would give more detail about your CPU, we can recommend some other games.

There is a lot of great games. :P To be honest, i don't even play on my pc games newer than 2005/6 (with some exceptions). I don't know what type of games do you like, so here's my list (not alphabetical or something, i'll just write while thinking). :P

- Carmageddon 1 and 2, great combat racing games,
- Rally Trophy, fantastic old racing game,
- Soldier of Fortune 1 (and maybe 2), solid, but a little bit brutal fps,
- Arcanum, amazing rpg,
- Jagged Alliance 2, tactical strategy mixed with rpg, one of my favourite games of all time,
- Commandos 1/2, mission-based rts
- Desperados - Wanted Dead or Alive, just like Commandos on Wild West. Absolutely amazing game,
- Capitalism 2, economic strategy,
-Tropico 1, as above,
- Giants - Citizen Kabuto, action game with great humour,
- Max Payne 1 - legendary action game,
- Serious Sam First Encounter - freaky but great fps,
- Tomb Raider 2-4, everyone knows it but hey, they are great games!
- Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed, one of the best NFS games,
- Gorky 17, polish post-apo rpg, fantastic game,
- Gangsters: Organized Crime, old but good strategy game with "Godfather" sense,
- Hexen 2 - really oldschool, but great fps,
- Shogun Total War - stunning rts,
- Homeworld - as above, but in space,
- Fallout 1/2/Tactics, post-apo rpg (Tactics is more like mission-based tactical strategy),
- Anno 1602/1503 - economic/rts/creating a new world,
- Puzzle Quest - mix of rpg and puzzle game,
- Warcraft 3, Metal Fatigue, Total Annihilation - all of them are absolutely fantastic rts games,
- Space Rangers 1/2, maybe they will work, because i played them on my low-specs laptop some time ago,
- Port Royale, something like Anno mixed with Pirates, :P
- Star Wars Jedi Outcast - for me it's the best game of Star Wars,
- Planescape: Torment, best crpg in history,
- Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, another great fps,

If you like oldschool games with crappy graphics, you should try UFO: Enemy Unknown, there is a free port called OpenXcom. It's just like original but works with new operating systems.

So here you go. Maybe i forgot of something, but i loved all of these games. :)

Thank you all for sharing so much infos. I used to play many emulator games on my PC and smartphone and was looking for something that looks better than PSX. I guess I can expect pleasing experience from grabbing some of your suggestions.:)

Actually, I can even play some PSP games on that laptop. PPSSPP is such a wonder!

I got a Windows 10 64bit Laptop with Intel Pentium 2020M with 4gb of ram and Intel HD graphics. it can run Doom 3 BFG with HD mod very well at 720p at 60fps. you can play anything thats in the early 2005 but you can play modern games aswell like HD remasters of old games but thats only if not much has been done with the engine.
example
Resident evil 4 Ultimate HD wont run at all unless you lower the res and turn everything off but it still chugs along.
Resident evil 4 from way back with HD mod runs at full speed at 720p.

so just stick to old games and remasters of old games if you're lucky. Emulators will run fine unless you plan on doing PS2 and above. Desmume will run fine with shaders but you wont get good results when you use the upres feature lol.

I guess Doom was such a popular game as a pioneer of FPS genre. I actually tried DSDoom, a homebrew port of Doom to NDS. But I'm quite vulnerable to 3D sickness, so I found out FPSs are not for me.:( Thanks anyway.

Thank you. I'll try Tomb Raider. I usually liked adventure games I played on emulator, so maybe it would be the best for me.:)

On an emulator standpoint, I'd recommend you look into GBA and SNES emulation. TONS of great classics to play, and they don't require much to run at full speed (read: your PC can handle it).
