Is there a way to load a .sav file from a 3DS Gateway to run on a digital versions from Nintendo's eShop?

I used to play OoT using a gateway about a year ago using a Gateway. I recently got in Zelda kick and wanted to pick up where I left off (1/4 complete). The 3DS I am now using is on Firmware 11.0 so I went ahead and purchased the digital version of Zelda: OoT digital version from the eShop.

I have my old save labeled from the gateway: 0004000000033500.sav (512k)

That similarly matches a sav in the following folders within the SD card: ...\title\00040000\00033500\data\00000001.sav (128k)

I tried swapping them out in a file explorer, tried restoring using the 'data management' tool on the 3DS and each combo seems to cause an error when loading the Digital OoT game from the menu.

So Back to my original question... is there a way to load a .sav file from a Gateway 3DS to run on a digital version of the same game from Nintendo's eShop?

But you have the digital version... which is a cia..
Correct. Does that matter if the cia version was installed legitimately through the eShop?

Sorry if i should know this, am I able to add the needed cia (i.e. JKSM) to a 3DS that is on 11.0.0-33u? I thought that I would need a CFW or Homebrew application to apply a cia.

If it is installed legitimately or illegitimately, it's still a cia. Just use JKSM to do it, or any other cia save manager. You can do this afaik

He can't install CIAs. He can't install JKSM. IF there's a 3dsx version that I somehow can't find, launching it would be a pain because browserhax isn't working on 11.0 yet.

That is this the issue I am running into. I have the cia files but I am unable to run the on a 11.0.0-33 (As far as I know). Any chance there is an emulator stable enough to load the cia and run JKSM on that emulator?

This link suggest that the saves made from my Gateway are encrypted. Is there program that will allow me to decrypt the save file?

MAYBE, you could use that sav file, ask somebody else to convert it and install it to your game using a save manager. But then you'd need a save manager that didn't need CFW, which might be impossible.
