Hacking Strange Wii bug, won't update or download WiiWare! Please help!

I just bought a used Wii and it came on 4.1U, with all sorts of hacks installed like piracy channels, external dvd drive, and I could find all kinds of strange IOSes installed, like even Korean IOses.

I used Dop Mii to get rid of what I could installing the original unpatched IOSes on top of modified ones.

Then I tryed to UPDATE the Wii using normal means, but after like 2 minutes it gives the error 32007 telling me then to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Well... I could do everything using Dop Mii to Download from NUS perfectly!

Ok so then I used DOP Mii to install System Menu 4.3U and that really removed Priiloader, then I tryed to make it update again to make sure no hack would be still there.

No good, it gave the same error as before.

Ok, then I went to Nintendo Shop to download Netflix... and like after 99%, after Mario jumps the last block like crazy, the Shop gives me an error telling me that the transaction had a problem and telling me to try to download later.

I left IOS36 patched to try NandClean, but it oly gives me blackscreen!

After all this stuff I found on the internet about that NAND Formatter, that gets rid of everything, and after using it I was at 4.1U again and used a Batman LEGO game to let it install the missing channels, since after NAND Formatter you only have the disc channel.

After all this thing, my Wii CAN'T UPDATE, and Nintendo Shop can't download Netflix and Opera! But I could install YouTube!...

Any ideas friends???

I'll open the Wii to see if it has any modchip and then try the method of creating a new NAND with ohneschwanzenegger.

I don't see why you had thought it would be a good idea to buy a Wii with Piracy Channels on it. Only thing I can think of is that the Wii Shop Channel is having diffculties connecting to your Wii. (If your connected to a Wifi Server Provider like Wiimfii, or Riiconnect24 the error is common.) Just try downloading the channel, or application about three or so times. If that does not work try using the NUSD Downloader Method, or another service provider for installing Wii Channels (That way you don't have to do it in Wii Shop.) Keep in mind you can only install FREE Channels currently today from WAD providers.

I have some linked in my tutorial here. Just look below. I'm assuming you already know how to install WAD's, but incase you don't read "How to uninstall a WAD" part of the guide. Follow all the steps except the uninstall, instead install.

second: Reset your adult filter, your network settings and turn on w24 support.
third: use dopmii wiibrew edition to fix all ioses, mios, bc and system menu to original...

Thanks for the reply, but as I described, I already used NandClean, it gave me blackscreen... and used Dop Mii too to rstore the original IOSes.

Every Brazilian used Wii comes with Piracy Channels, even brand new ones sold in non official stores! lol!!!


BUT I FIXED EVERY PROBLEM NOW

Just by using ohneschwanzenegger to create a new nand.bin and flashed it using bootmii IOS.

Now everything is working perfectly, and it was easy! The Wii is just like new!!

I'm still having problems to download some channels from Wii Shop, but now on my other Wii too, can't download Netflix... it seems it's a Nintendo problem, but I see no one complaining about this for now.

Is it giving you the same error code (one you said on 1st post.)

It's not error 32007 when it didn't want to update, that was fixed by flashing a clean new nand.

The error that don't let me download Netflix from Wii Shop is 204910

Happening even on my main Wii that is totally ok

The issue is from being on a seperate server host not Nintendo Wii's. Being on RiiConnect24 for example, or Wiimmfii. If it does not work try again.

I dont use RiiConnect25 or Wiimmfii, the Wii is vanilla except for having homebrew channel, but I had the same error after restoring a nand with nothing installed too.

I tried a different wifi, same thing.

BUT NOW I was able to download, I changed my Region to Canada, but I don't know if it was just luck, since Crunchyroll (that I found couldn't be downloaded too) still can't be downloaded. AND I was using USA before Canada AND I'm sure it used to work when it was Brazil.

Very strange, looks like a server issue when the download stops near 100%, like when you download something from the internet and your Rar gets corrupted .

could it be there's a costum setting in the w24 settings? or a proxy? cause most should work downloading though nintendo killed some network applications from working like weather channel
