Hacking How far can you update your Gateway emunand?

Basically,what the title says,can you update gateway to the latest firmware (for emunand) while beiing on 9.2 on sysNAND ?

Does updating deletes previously installed cias ? I'm doing this so I can play games online,so if there's another solution,please say it to me.

Is it guranteed that there won't be anything broken in sysNAND? I've heard that this FW has fixed many entry points (even cubic ninja or misheard stuff? i don't really know)I'm just worried to do stuff before ensuring they're safe

This is a pretty fair question. Yes, Nintendo fucked up a lot of homebrew, but with emuNAND it doesn't make a difference.

Just try to update it properly:
0 - Make a backup of your NAND dump.
1 - Make sure that you actually have a emunand.
2 - Launch GW, enter system options.
3 - If it says GW3DS X.XX instead of Ver. X.XX then you're good to go directly to system update.
Don't exit System Options, don't update using eShop.

If I didn't have emunand would it still have GW instead of Ver ? that's a kind of a detail that would've ost a lot

Yeah, you actually have emuNAND, just make sure that you're in the GW emunand mode when performing the update.

you shouldnt update gateway emunand just use A9LH
