So I had a 9.2 New 3ds that had a broken C Stick. I had menuHAX and all of my emuNAND on my SD card which I removed. I wiped my data and I sent it in to nintendo and they repaired it and sent it back to me. But unfortunately they upgraded to 11.0.

Im pretty upset. But Im trying to figure out what I have to do to be able to load up my Gateway Card and Luma 3ds CFW. Are my only hopes right now the SSB Beacon HAX and freakyform? If I am on 11.0 I can load up that exploit then from the HBL load my gateway Homebrew or Luma 3DS?

Is there no possibility to use Luma3DS with freakyhax?
Not on 11.0. No kernel exploits.
no you CAN'T use cfw or gateway on 11.0, and you CAN'T downgrade
Wrong. He can with a hardmod.

Contact @vb_encryption_vb to get a hardmod installed. With that you can downgrade. That's your best bet right now unless you are skilled enough in soldering to do the hardmod yourself or know someone who is. But the tools for hardmod installing (a decent soldering iron, solder, a hand file for making a hole, the cables and connectors) will cost as much as a hardmod or likely more if you don't already have them and the end result will probably be worse.

Sell it and buy a new console? Seems a little bit less complicated than installing a hardmod plus it saves you alot of time.
1) If you're not good at soldering, get someone else to do it for you. (e.g. if you are in the UK ask gamesquest1)
2) Getting it hardmodded, or doing it yourself, is a lot shorter than putting your 3ds on ebay, selling it, posting it, finding out that your package was lost, finding it again, sending it again, looking for an exploitable one on the internet, finding that someone else nabbed your order, finding another one after 72 hours, then ordering it, find out that your paypal locked out, getting it back, finding out someone stole all your money, then loaning some from your parents, then your parents disowning you, then you find out that you're homeless.

Getting it Hardmodded = Win
Selling and Buying it on eBay = You become homeless.

It all adds up ^_^

or he could just put it on a classified listing and buy one from gamestop or something... most if not all n3dses are currently under 10.7

Arghh man what a bummer! fancy sending it to Nintendo to be fixed, did you not think that they would not go ahead and do just that? soon as they saw it on 9x they would of smelt a rat and updated it to 11x asap.

Edit: also please dont tell me you wrote a little letter alongside to Nintendo, saying something like> "my c-stick is broken I cant use Super Smash Bros online very well, can you fix it"

My post contained many traces of sarcasm, but hardmodding is the best way to go. You are then absolutely protected from anything you or nintendo do to screw up your 3ds.
a9lh does too, unless you don't have any backups. then even a hardmod is useless

Again the best way for him would be selling his console and buying a new one instead of doing a hardmode, why? Well a hardmode gets you what, the loss of your warranty. So the best course here would be to sell his 3DS which still has a valid warranty list BTW, buy a new one, install A9LH and profit.

*hardmod not hardmode.

Also, an hardmod is pretty useful if you somehow screw A9LH up.

You do realise installing A9LH will void your warranty, right?
