Yes. You know you can change the ROM path in Forwarder3-DS, right?
Alright so I've played around with it a bit, and here is what I understand:
The .dat and the .nds have to be the same name. Booting a forwarder will update the INI with the name that rom SHOULD be.
Actually renaming the .nds file and putting it in /Games will cause it to boot.

What I want to know now is: Is there any faster way of doing this? I'm not entirely sure how to match up the .dat and the .nds file without constantly booting forwarders from my home menu and seeing the ini changes.

The .DAT and the .NDS don't have to have the same name.

Alright, realized I've been an idiot and Forward3-DS was the answer I'd been looking for. Sorry about that, but thank you.

Other question: I tried to install 80 CIAs but only 40 stuck. You mentioned that 40 DSiWare was the hardcap; does that apply even to the DS forwarders?

Weirdly I can't create a forwarder for my rip of Viva Pinata DS, the application doesn't give any errors there's just no forwarder created. All my other games have been fine.

Put the folder with the .jar file in the hard drive root, and/or shorten the .nds filename.
